Dives
Two reef dives per trip, A typical Playa boat day includes two dives over about four hours.
Two dive days and one snorkel day across three distinct environments — Caribbean reef, freshwater cenote caverns, and the open ocean where whale sharks gather off the Yucatán coast.
Choose your preferred start date when you book; we schedule your three days around your vacation — including the whale shark excursion within the seasonal window.
Maximum 5 divers per instructor on boat dives; up to 4 per instructor in cenotes — the same ratios as our individual trips.
High-quality rental gear available for every dive day in the package, with the same equipment options as booking each trip separately.
The package price includes our multi-day discount — save compared to booking all three days individually.
The Summer Lovin’ package takes the same rhythm as our Full Experience and swaps Cozumel for the trip that only happens when the water warms up. Over three separate days you will explore the Caribbean reef off Playa del Carmen, drift through crystal-clear cenote caverns, and spend a full day on the whale shark aggregation zone where the biggest fish in the ocean filter-feed at the surface — four guided scuba dives plus one of the most memorable snorkel days in Mexico, with our multi-day savings already built into the price.
Whale sharks are normally elusive. Off the northeast coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, from mid-May through mid-September, we often see them in large numbers — and the Mexican government has protected the area as a National Marine Park. Diving is not permitted there, but snorkelling alongside these gentle giants is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many people. This package lets you pair that open-ocean day with the reef and underground diving that make the Riviera Maya famous, without juggling three separate bookings.
This is the package we recommend when you are visiting in summer and want the full range of what we offer above and below the water line — Caribbean reef life, cathedral-like cenote passages, and the graceful bulk of a whale shark passing beneath you in clear blue water.
Our local reefs are full of marine life waiting for you to explore.

Certified divers (Open Water or equivalent) who are visiting between mid-May and mid-September and want reef, cenote, and whale shark experiences in one coordinated plan.
The two dive days follow the same requirements as our individual Playa and cenote trips. The whale shark day does not require scuba certification, but you should be a confident swimmer and experienced snorkeller — these animals look slow and graceful from the boat, yet keeping pace with them in the water takes real effort. The excursion runs in open ocean, more than an hour from shore, so consider seasickness medication if you are prone to it.
If your dates fall outside whale shark season, take a look at our Full Experience package instead — same three-day structure with Cozumel Direct in place of the snorkel day.
When you book Summer Lovin’ online, you choose a preferred start date. After your deposit is confirmed, our team reaches out to plan your three days around your vacation — whale shark sightings, weather, and sea conditions all factor in, especially if you are booking for a trip within the next few days.
If you have specific dates in mind — particularly for the whale shark day — mention them in the notes at checkout or contact us before booking. We monitor ocean conditions and recent sighting reports closely in season and will always do our best to put you on the water when the sharks are around. As with any wild animal encounter, we cannot guarantee sightings, but conditions off the Yucatán in peak season are usually excellent.
This package doesn’t force you into a strict cookie-cutter itinerary. Once you book, our team will reach out to ensure we are putting together the right plan day-by-day.
If you are not yet certified then take a look at our Learn to dive courses first — or contact us to discuss options.
Not sure this is the right fit? Our dive concierge can help you build a custom package, or browse our individual dive trips to compare.
The package price combines all three days and applies our multi-day discount automatically. You will see the full list price crossed out alongside the discounted cash and card totals on this page — the savings are real, not a marketing gimmick.
*Hint: Because this is a multi-day plan, any additional days of diving you book will immediately also inherit the multi-day discount.
